Senior Just A Minute Final

A great evening of competition took place on Monday 17th April with a good audience gathered for the County Final of the Senior Just a Minute Competition at The George Hotel.  The teams spoke for one minute on a variety of topics, including the cost of living crisis, King Charles III, scented candles, the Eurovision Song Contest and strikes without hesitation, repetition or deviation.

The competition was fiercely fought with two tie breakers needed to determine the overall winning team and only 7 points between all the final placings!

Results were as follows:
1st: Greysouthen YFC
2nd: Penrith YFC
3rd: Lowick YFC
4th: Eden Valley YFC
Joint 5th: Kent Estuary and Skelton YFCs

Abbie Fisher from Penrith YFC was the highest scoring competitor on the evening with 14 points!
